Each recipe has been specially designed by The Creativity Project, and has a recommended glass and garnish for those who like to make their cocktails beautiful. ' The ' Gin & Tonic

The Gin & Tonic is a classic and is still trending as a top request in local bars and restaurants. Perfect for a night out on a Saturday, or winding down on a sunny Sunday afternoon, the refreshing zing of this drink will make your senses tingle.

Ingredients:

Ice
30 ml gin
Phoenix Tonic Water
6 black peppercorns
Lemon peel
Garnish: Cucumber flowers

Method:

Measure gin and pour into a small crystal tumbler. Add ice and fill glass with Phoenix Tonic Water. Add in the black peppercorns and lemon peel, leaving it in the drink to infuse the flavours. Garnish with cucumber flowers.

Method:

Round Trip to Europe

With the main ingredients originating from Spain and England, taking a sip of this cocktail will take you on a round trip to Europe. The essence of the dates, mixed with Phoenix Tonic Water make this cocktail super smooth on the palate.

Ingredients:

30 ml infused date water
50 ml gin
10 ml premium sherry
15 ml Charlie's orange juice
10 ml simple sugar syrup syrup
Phoenix Tonic Water
Garnish: Orange peel twist & flowers

Method:

Infuse the water with dates for 15 minutes. Add the date water, gin, sherry, orange juice, and syrup into cocktail shaker and shake vigorously. Place the cocktail shaker strainer on top of your shaker. Hold another strainer above a small crystal coupette to catch any excess fruit as you pour the contents of the shaker into your glass (this is called double straining). Top your strained cocktail with Phoenix Tonic Water, and stir. Garnish with orange peel twist and flowers.

Round Trip to Europe

Pimm's Cocktail Number 1

One of the oldest cocktail recipes and one of the simplest. The sweetness of ginger ale complements the Pimm’s liquer so much so that they’re the only two ingredients you need for this beautiful cocktail.

Ingredients:

Ice
50 ml Pimm’s liqueur
Phoenix Ginger Ale
Garnish: Seasonal fruits

Method:

Measure liqueur and pour into a Bordeaux wine glass. Fill with ice and Phoenix Ginger Ale and stir. Garnish with your chosen seasonal fruit (lemon, orange, mint, strawberry, Maraschino cherry, dried fruits).

Pimm's Cocktail
Number 1

One of the oldest cocktail recipes and one of the simplest. The sweetness of ginger ale complements the Pimm’s liquer so much so that they’re the only two ingredients you need for this beautiful cocktail.

Method:

Muddle the grapes into the shaker then add the lime juice, almond syrup, rums, lemon butter and chocolate bitters. Shake vigorously. Place the cocktail shaker strainer on top of your shaker. Hold another strainer above a highball glass to catch any excess. Strain the contents of the cocktail shaker through the first and second strainer into your glass (this is called double straining). Fill the rest of the glass up with Phoenix Ginger Ale and garnish with grapes.

60 ml vodka

Garnish: English Breakfast tea

Method:

Place the egg white, syrup, lemon juice, marmalade and vodka into a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously. Place the cocktail shaker strainer on top of your shaker. Hold another strainer above a black crystal or old fashioned glass to catch any excess. A classic cocktail passed down for generations. Champagne and lemonade work to make the citrus flavours even more tantalizing.

Ingredients:

15 ml chamomile syrup
15 ml fresh lemon juice
5 drops of orange bitters
20 ml rum
Champagne
Phoenix Dry Lemonade
Garnish: Dried lemon and mint

Method:

Place the chamomile syrup, lemon juice, orange bitters, and rum into a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously. Place the cocktail shaker strainer on top of your shaker. Hold another strainer above a crystal Martini or crystal coupette glass. Pour the contents of the cocktail shaker through the first and second strainer into your glass (this is called double straining). Fill the rest of the glass up with Phoenix Dry Lemonade and Champagne and garnish with dried lemon and mint to serve.

An original recipe for the bourbon lovers. You can’t go wrong with an old classic with a twist but give it a try with Phoenix Soda Water and you won’t go back.

Ingredients:

Ice
50 ml premium bourbon
1 sugar cube
15 ml Phoenix Soda Water
7 drops of Angostura bitters
Garnish: Orange peel & Maraschino cherry

Method:

Place the sugar cube in an Old Fashioned glass with seven drops of bitters and muddle. Place ice in the glass, measure bourbon and pour into glass. Fill rest of the glass with Phoenix Soda Water then stir and garnish with orange peel and Maraschino cherry to serve.

The crispness of Phoenix Soda Water combines with the sweet fruitiness of the other ingredients to create a flavour reminiscent of the classic Mojito, but with a touch more sophistication.

Ingredients:

Half fresh lime
2 tbsp white sugar
8 mint leaves
20 ml Phoenix Soda Water
15 ml premium rum
20 ml premium white rum
5 ml simple sugar syrup
Garnish: Mint, lime and dried lime

Method:

Muddle the lime into a highball glass with the sugar. Pour all of the ingredients into the glass, including the Phoenix Soda Water. Stir well and garnish with mint, lime and dried lime to serve.

Mojito Royal

This simple Scotch and cola is favourite amongst whisky drinkers and cola lovers alike. The lime citrus is rounded by the vanilla notes in Phoenix Premium Cola too take it to another level.

Ingredients:

Ice
30 ml Scotch whisky
15 ml fresh lime juice
10 ml Cognac 15 years old
Phoenix Premium Cola
Garnish: Slice of orange

Method:

Measure Scotch whisky and Cognac and pour into a copper goblet or glass. Fill rest of the glass with ice and Phoenix Premium Cola. Squeeze lime juice and garnish with a big slice of orange to serve.

A cocktail similar to this one was invented at La Cabala, a cocktail bar in Italy. The apple and coconut flavours infused with mint and cola create a taste that’s definitely one to try.

Ingredients:

1 muddled star anise
3 mint leaves
15 ml fresh lime juice
45 ml premium white rum, infused with roasted coconut
1 slice of fresh apple gratin
Phoenix Premium Cola
Garnish: Slice of apple, mint leaves and star anise

Method:

Grate a slice of apple into the shaker and muddle it with one star anise. Place the lime juice, rum, and apple gratin into your cocktail shaker and shake vigorously. Place the cocktail shaker strainer on top your shaker. Hold another strainer above a tall crystal glass to catch any excess fruit. Strain the contents of the cocktail shaker through the first and second strainer into your glass (this is called double straining). Pour in Phoenix Premium Cola and garnish with a slice of apple, mint leaves and star anise to serve.

A cocktail similar to this one was invented at La Cabala, a cocktail bar in Italy. The apple and coconut flavours infused with mint and cola create a taste that’s definitely one to try.
